Have a look in the reports section – ‘other reports’ for Mohamed Abdelrahman’s latest report from Taiwan. Interface is funding Mohamed’s stay in Taiwan while he completes his 2 year Plastic and reconstructive surgery training. He has a further 6 months to go before he returns to Sudan, where he will be the first Sudanese reconstructive surgeon, and he is hoping to set up a plastics unit there. Also, Isaac’s first month report from Kagando hospital, where he is helping the only physio there (Ken) for 3 months. Interface is paying for his accomodation and transport costs to get there. He has treated 45 patients in his first month, and it sounds as if he is being a huge help to Ken, as well as learning about and treating a wide variety of conditions.
