Since 2012, Interface Uganda has been providing equipment for the surgical trainees. The kind of equipment they need is to help with their studies and their clinical skills – eg, digital cameras, laptops, textbooks, surgical loops, etc.
This is a news snippet form 2012 when the trainee programme started:
Interface buys digital cameras for Martin and Darius, the two plastic surgery trainees.
Plastic Surgery is a very visual specialty and we record digital images as a way of monitoring our patients progress and recording their information. Our two trainees are now able to use this useful tool as they see and treat patients and as they prepare tutorials and presentations. Interface provided the cameras and the accessories they required.
