On the wettest August evening, 38 people turned up to Dragon boat race on Exeter quay for Interface Uganda! Wet from the drenching rain above and splashed from the river water below, the 38 hardcore paddlers faced the elements to have fun and raise funds for people in Uganda needing vital reconstructive surgery. An impressive turnout for possibly the worst August weather imaginable!!! Thank you to everyone who took part and donated – you raised over £200 for Interface. A huge THANK YOU to Dom Hazell who organised the whole event, and to the rowing club for hosting it and teaching us all how to not fall in!
