Mrs Helen Anderson

picture-6Born in the U.K. and did nurse training in the Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing service. I have always worked in Emergency Nursing, and I still work part time as a nurse practitioner in the Emergency Department at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. I met Andrew and Sarah Hodges when they first returned in the U.K in 2000 and worked at the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital. I was inspired by the work that Andrew and Sarah had done and intended to do. I volunteered my services and have now been to Uganda on numerous occasions. In December 2001 I became a Trustee of the charity and continue to be so. I am now the Trustee representative on the Management Committee.
