Thanks so much to Tim and Martin who have cycled 200 miles of the West coast of Ireland. So far they have raised £1,140 for Interface Uganda. Here is their story:
They did it!!
Yet again these plucky chaps ventured forth valiantly…this time they had to fight against the adverse Irish weather but managed to reach their target of 200 miles.
They started at Cashel, in Connemara, on to Kinvara in County Clare. Next day to Killrush, following day to Tralee, in Kerry, and the final day to the beautiful Dingle peninsula.
They were helped by the generosity of the Irish and many delightful personalities along the way, and the wonderful landscape….a few pics below.
A well deserved 3 day break in Dingle at the end made it all very special….yes….much Guinness imbibed.
Thanks to all who have contributed…..we have exceeded the £1000 target but would like to be as successful as last year when we raised £1500. It is not too late to give something if you are a bit late, as this site will remain open for a time. Remember it is a really worthwhile cause.
Many thanks from Tim, Martin, Kathy and Jo
