
Splinting stories from the therapists CoRSU hospital

Thank you so much to Rhonah and David who compiled these patient stories for us. We send splinting material out every 3-4 months, and it is great to see how it is being used.

MORE EQUIPMENT FOR THE THERAPY TEAM AT CoRSU

Interface regularly sends out new and used equipment for the therapy department at CoRSU hopsital to use. We have been doing this now for over 6 years on a regular basis – 3-4 times per year. As well as lots of used knee braces, fractured ankle boots, back braces and wrist splints, we also send out new splinting material and velcro. Interface funds new drill for surgeons at CoRSU hospital

Interface Uganda has bought a ‘Stryker’ drill for cutting bone to make work a bit easier for the surgical team at CoRSU Hospital. Before, they used a manual drill for cutting bone which took a long time, thereby putting patients at more risk for being under anaesthetic for longer. This was an expensive piece of equipment at £12,000, so Interface is very happy to have been able to provide such a valuable piece of kit. We are all extremely grateful [...]
