INTERFACE FUNDING A NEW INITIATIVE

Interface is funding a new initiative.  We are paying for the salary and transport costs for a ‘mobiliser’ – a person to go into rural areas and small communities in Uganda to find children and adults needing reconstructive surgery for conditions such as cleft lips and burns contractures.  The trips into the communities have already started, and assessments have taken place.  Many patients have been found who would otherwise not have the chance to have life changing [...]

OUR ANNUAL ACCOUNTS AND OTHER NEW REPORTS

The annual accounts of the charity for 2012 have been submitted to the the charity commission and if anyone wants to see them, go to reports section and then select ‘Other Reports’.  It is the final attachment.

For other new reports, see how Mohamed Abdelrahmen (from Sudan) is getting on after one years’ training in plastic and reconstructive surgery in Taiwan.  Interface is helping him with his living costs over there – otherwise he would not be able to study there.
